The Red River
The Red River in a vast river system that flows north along the Minnesota/North Dakota borders into Manitoba, Canada eventually emptying into the massive Lake Winnipeg. Known mostly for its channel cat fishing and impressive floods the Red River is a hotbed of nature at its best. Its banks are home to historic cottonwood trees as well as many animals and birds that call this ecosystem home.

When you book your tour with Red River Nature Tours you will be taken on a boatride into history. A history that dates back over 100 years. You will see, hear and smell what the steamboat captains of the past did. You will see how beautiful the Red and Red Lake rivers are when you get to see them from the water's vantage point and not from the bank.
Your hosts Captain Brad and Captain Kent drive you in the river allowing you to experience the Red at its finest. You wil see the birds, animals, trees, and take in the simple serinity that the rivers have to offer. The package will include the tour route of your choice. If along the way you see a bird, animal or site that you would like to spend extra time enjoying, not a problem we can simply anchor to allow you more time to enjoy the sights from the perfect vantage point. The time in the river is yours and we want you to enjoy it however you wish.
